Referring to the Hydraulic Pressure control valve and in particular the Unloading Valve in the Pressure Control Valve. (I&T manual Fig. 110 p 48 & paragraph 168 p 49 I&T manual)
I removed the valve plug, snap ring and poppet from the unloading valve body.
The manual states; "using a stiff hooked wire remove the unloading valve body" to clean and replace the O-Ring on the end of the valve body.
My valve body is stuck in the bore.
I have tried using a hardened pick to hook it out without success.
I thought of trying to thread a bolt into the small valve body opening at the bottom, but am afraid this would damage it or expand it in the bore.
Any advice on safely removing this valve body without damaging it would be greatly appreciated.

I got it out!
Just in case anyone has the same problem with a similar type of situation - I used a heavy welding rod - cleaned off all flux and polished the rod with a dremel and wire attachment then fabricated a hook on the end. Was just able to pass it through the hole in the center of the valve body and using a pair of side cutters to get a good grip on the rod gently levered it out of the bore.
