I see bolts for the upper part and then the lower part...can it be removed without taking the dash off of tractor? thanks everyone

Deene, I have some pictures of my hydraulic unit removed. I put the unit on my saw horses with a bucket underneath and you could see the oil leak out as I filled it. The bearings and seals were bad and Centerplate can get you the parts if you need them. If it leaking hydraulic oil into the rearend it will have to come out. It's pretty easy just don't loose the springs in the shifter housing. You must pull the PTO driveshaft to remove hydraulic housing. I found to remove the housing from the left side of tractor worked best.
