2-105 parking brake

They delivered the 2-105 today, but they didn't have a manual for it. The parking brake almost works if I pull it all the way back against the console, but it won't hold the tractor from rolling. How do I adjust it?

I have done it to my 2-88 a couple times in 9000 hrs, but never to my 2-85. Think they work the same. Hard for me to explain, but the manual explains it pretty well. Get a manual and you will figure out easy enough.

Pop the dust covers off the end of the brake actuator and inside is an adjustment screw. Turn it in to make your parking brake tighter. There is an equalizing lever under the below brake lever that each brake and the lever attach to with linkage. With parking brake on the lever should be about perpendicular to the frame. You could also turn each adjusting screw in all the way until tight and back them off a turn equally. Then recheck parking brake adjustment. You want at minimum 3 clicks or the brakes will drag.

Thanks Mike. I'll see if there's room to get in there. The wheels are set all the way in.

Take the small cover off brake housing, looks like dust cap on each side. In there is allen screw with lock nuts, with hand brake off loosen locknut turn allen screw in until snug then back off about 1/2 turn. Do on both sides. You want about three clicks on brake handle. Good luck with new toy! AL

Got it,thanks a lot.
I popped the caps off, loosened the lock nuts, drew the bolts up so they were just snug, backed them off a half turn and tightened the locknuts. I got in and checked it. It was right at three clicks. I drove it ahead and back, pulled the lever a couple of times, she was still right at three clicks.
