Putting my 1650 back together after 3 years apart I know how to check the level of the rear end but not 100 percent on where to fill it from.how much 80/90 does it take and is the front part where the shift lever is separate from the rear part.there are two drain plugs under the machine which is why I'm asking.

Transmission/final drive takes 32 quarts.   You fill by removing the cap on the transmission cover (it's through the floor board near the clutch pedal).   As you fill it will build a pool of oil in the transmission until it gets to it's required lever and will then spill over into the final drive.  That's why there are two drain plugs.  The transmission pool is maintained by the lube pump that picks up oil from the final drive and lubes the transmission input shaft and gears, it's spillage falls into the transmission pool.   The lube pump also lubes the final drive and the PTO.
