Need a grill

Anybody have a lead on the chrome plastic grill shroud for a 2-105 White? It's a 79 with the headlights in the grill. Parts book says part number 30-3371344 for tractors after 276672 I think it was. I called Matt at Worthington. They didn't have one,but he said he'd keep an eye out. The dealer said they had tried to find one for this tractor, but didn't have any luck. I don't know how long since they tried though. You'd think something might have been parted since they checked.

Maybe check with The Tractor Doctor from WI? Or you could ask on the oliver tractors facebook page. There is over 7000 oliver fans on there. Just a thought. Good luck and I hope the tractor treats you well. They are good work horses!

Who's this tractor doctor fella? I'm no on FB,I'd have to have the wife check. Or JWondergem.
Maybe I should just modify it and put an Oliver 1600 cast grill on it. lol

Teeswater Agro Parts....used to be the Oliver White dealer in Teeswater Ontario...he,s wrecking a dozen or so Whites. Good guy to deal with. Ben

Not yet. I just bought the tractor, wanted to get it home and see if I needed anything else for it before I made too many calls. Matt put it on the locator through Worthington in St Johns. I've got a call in to Owosso TP. Haven't heard back yet. If either one of them had it,it would only be an hour drive to go get it. If I have to have things shipped,I want to make sure I have everything on my list covered.
Matt said they haven't parted one in three years,so they're due.

You most likely won't hear back from Owosso. I never got a call back the last 4 or 5 times I've called over there. They say, I don't know if we have that, I'll check and call you back, what is your name and number? I stopped dealing with them since.

I called Smitty's this morning and got the answering machine. I left him the part number and serial number. I'll see if he calls back.

Marty, the guy who parts stuff out in MI, just had a decent one on ebay, but it's gone now. I'd keep a watch on his auctions.

The other thing to do is go to tractorhouse.com and on the left side is a "part search" link. Click that and the page it takes you to will have a link for dismantled machines which will allow you to search yards nationwide based on make and model. Look for the model you want and start calling.

Smitty just called me back. He doesn't have one, said he'd put my name in the book and call if he gets one.

Thanks! That's kinda handy. Some of them even list the serial number of the tractor being parted.

Well,I got ahold of All-States. They had several listed on that site. Some with high enough serial numbers. They said they didn't have any at any locations. I'll keep trying.

Randy, you can try Justin Meyer that posts on here and in the classifieds that always has White & Oliver parts for sale. I think he just recently listed some parts again in the photo ads so his contact info is there.

I've shot off emails to every place that has one parted on Tractorhouse. So far I've heard back from two of them that don't have it. Probably be Monday before I hear from very many. There were so many of them that I just copied and pasted the same message to all of them and it still took me 20 minutes to get through them all.
One can only hope.
