1265 Sway Bars

We have a 1265 with a log skidding winch that is PTO operated and attached to the 3 point. Has a tendency to sway hard when traveling on uneven ground even with the sway chains shortened all the way. Is there a sway bar arrangement like on the Fords? Looks like there is room for a bracket below the fender mount. Thoughts, pictures?

You might have to run some half inch threaded rod with some big washers through the chains and tighten the nuts down to take the last of the slack out of them. I can think of a few other ways to do it,small screw type chain binder might be another way.

Thanks , may try that. I'll lift the arms up to the top and see how much slack is really there. Don't want the chains to be too short.

I have no way of knowing if they are the correct chains. They each have a large hand turned enclosed turnbuckle sort of arrangement for adjusting the length. I think I am the second owner so I am thinking they are original.
