Just recently installed a pto clutch with all brand new seals, driven and driving plates etc. etc., now by looking at my manual it metions a couple of different ways to achieve the correct amount of force it takes to engage the clutch and the way Im trying is to have 32 lbs. up 2 ft. from the centerline of the cross shaft. Hopefully I'm headed in the right direction, but it seems like the adjusting ring determines the force it takes? By looking at the clutch itself once you have reached your dimension is that when the lever is pulled all the way back to the stop and the 3 little arms go over center. I have the tractor split in half. Need a little bail out here farmers. :?:
