I acquired a rc 70 a few years ago and finally have the time to try to bring it back to life. After weeks of draining fluids, finding tires,
restoring the mag, and rebuilding the carb I started it up and ran it down the lane and back. It ran pretty rough and over heated rather quickly.
But what really worried me was the oil droplets flying out with the exhaust! My face was splattered with oil after the short 5 minute drive. Any
thoughts of the most likely cause? Valves, rings, or all of the above? I believe it has a continental 6 cylinder engine. I would appreciate any
advice! Thanks guys.
