possible fuel problem, 77 gas

Returning a hay baler last September, my 77 started cutting out (engine dying) as I was going up a hill. It recovered enough that I got home, but did cut out a couple more times, especially on a hill.

Not low on gas, 10 inches in tank.

Am going to look for the problem, would appreciate any suggestions about what might be going on.

Thanks.

Sounds like a restriction in the line, tank outlet, or Carb inlet. Probably trickling just enough to keep her running. Get a little angle on the carburetor and it starves.

Had a d 15 Allis did that found a bee in the sediment inlet from the tank how he got there was beyond me dumped him out and good to go why can't all things be that easy. Pull gas line loose at carburetor and check flow. One other thing is check your air cleaner.
