Tell Me About Oliver 1355

So, I am in search for a tractor to do odd jobs around the property. One unit I am looking at is an 1970 Oliver 1355, 2WD with power steering and I believe around 3300 hours. I have no experience with these tractors. The little I can find around the internet is positive and the parts for this tractor seem to be readily available and reasonably priced. Has anyone on here had much experience with these tractors? Are there common problem areas to look for?

They were an Italian built fiat tractor. They were about 55 hp can't remember tho. We have a white 2-50 which is a later version of the 1355. We have 5,800 hours on it and never had any problems. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat

I've got a 1365. Pretty much the same tractor, just a little newer. Excellent tractor. I'm in Michigan too. That tractor started for me last winter on mornings when it was -15 to -18 degrees without ether or plugging it in. I can't say enough good about them.

We have a 1255, 1365, and 1465. I'm a big fan, just be a little leery of the 4wd on the 55 series(65 series units are great). The 55 series 4wd setups were not great and really hard to find parts for. Rick Stair can get you nearly every part you can possibly need for the engines and transmissions on these things, so definitely don't be scared of that.

Thanks for the replys, I appreciate it.

There is an equipment auction this weekend, I am going to go look at a bunch of stuff that does not fit my budget, so I will be sure to go look at this tractor further after that!
