Need assistance with jack for 207 rake

The 207 rake I acquired last year does not have the original jack. Actually, it has no jack at all. This seems quite common as I have never noticed an original jack on a picture of a 207 rake yet! I'm guessing they must have been a little bit on the flimsy side.

I would like to restore this rake, complete with an original jack. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with, I would be interested but they just might not be out there. I would even be interested in re-manufacturing a jack but would need some detailed information about them - ideally if I could look at one in person, that would be the best scenario.

There are some pictures of it in my Operators Manual and brochure but if anyone has any information, I would be very appreciative. Thanks!

it basically was the old fashion car bumper jack. you could never trust it very far. own one of those rakes
back n the day. bought new.

Thanks for the tips, everyone.

ztr, what was the failure point on that jack?

oc-18guy, does your 311 still have the original jack? Where are you located? Maybe I'll have to take a road trip!

As already mentioned, that jack is what was considered as a normal car jack back in the 1950's and 60's. An auto wrecker may have some kicking around. I have one in my 1979 Sierra pickup but not sure if it was original.

That little handle out the rear of that hitch (second picture above) is what I use to lift the rake. I use a vertical wind implement jack pinned to that handle. I'd like to know what that rear handle was originally meant for.
