77 Engine Lift Point

I am getting ready to remove the engine on my 1951 gas 77 Row Crop. The IT manual says "Install lifting eye to engine", where do I install the lifting eye? Is the engine and clutch assembly lifted by a single bolt? Is the lifting eye by any chance screwed onto the large stud just left of the valve cover between cylinders 2 & 3? If so, it seems too far forward for a level lift.

Yes some one put the special bolt where the lifting eye attaches to in the wrong place. That special bolt goes between cylinders 3 & 4. Look where the freeze plugs are on the had. It goes right in front of the soft plug.

OK, thanks for the quick reply. I assume I back out that head bolt and put in a new bolt with a lift ring? I noticed I have two bolts coming out of each side of the block near the front below the generator on the right and just in front of the dipstick on the left. Can I lift on these or are they for some other purpose?
