Recently put in a new marvel schebler carburetor and for some odd
reason when you go to open it up it acts like it's not getting enough
gas. Went through the electrical and that's all new and ok. When we
looked at the carburetor one guy raised the question if it's the
correct power needle in the carburetor . The old carburetor that came
off was a zenith. The opening at the top of the needle is roughly the
size of a paper clip. We don't have any 1550 around to compare it to
and the 1600 and 1650 use different carburetor. What gets even more
interesting is when you look up its usually the same carburetor as a
550. When you try an adjust the needle you have very few turns to make
any kind of adjustments . Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks
