This Saturday at a local consignment sale a one family owner 1800 Oliver gas will sell....It was bought new in 1960-61 at Nolin Equipment which was our local Oliver-Case dealer.....As an 11 year old I remember it and another new one sitting there and dreaming about Dad buying one....This tractor had a 1850 rear end as 4-5 years ago the 1800 one locked up..I know this tractor well as I and my brother hauled river bottom slough hay for the owner back in the late 1960's in to the early 1980's.....He pulled his NH square baler with the 1800..This family will also sell a 88 Oliver with loader....Its also been in the family for a long time..

Believe it or not just 18 miles away is another 1 owner 1800 Oliver gas sold new at our local dealer..The owner is in his early 90's and still farms part of his 2000 acres with mostly new Case-IH equipment..

They must have put the 1850 hood on it too. Those aren't 60 or 61 hood sides. They would have had the checkerboard decals not the spears.

I noticed that too. I also noticed that it looks like it has an aluminum carburetor which was not used on the A series but was used starting with the B series in 62.

It may be a 1962 model? Its hard to remember going back over 50 years ago...I know that our Oliver dealer went out of business sometime in early 1963 and not long after the building burnt.....In 1964 a new Oliver dealer started up at Rich Hill, MO so thats where everyone went for parts..He went out in 1971 but sure sold a bunch of tractors in a short time..

My email is open if you want to contact me about how to test Bosch injection pumps for being stuck...
