Olivefr 4-24 Potato Digger

I'm rejuvenating the right half of a 4-24 digger. It's pretty much together and about ready to do a dry run, only needs about 5" of the main drive chain. How is roller chain measured? Since this is such an old unit, is it a standard size or special manufacturer only? The picture is one I found on the interweb, I'm working with the far side only. The chain I need is the same as pictured. Appreciate any help. Thanks!

Are there any numbers on the links? If not measure the width and the center to center distance of the pins and check with a good ag dealer in your area.

I looked a little closer. Wire brushed off a few links. Found the numbers in the picture. That's the best one I was able to come up with. Tried searching online but couldn't find any matches. It's an offset chain. I do have some dimensions, pin to pin is 1.750", width is 1.05" and 1.315". Any suggestions?

Next one shows 140 chain 1.750 pitch. http://chains.alliedlocke.com/viewitems/ansi-roller-chains/ansi-single-strand-roller-chains McMaster-Carr has single links, but you could buy a fair size farm if you bought it by the link.

Did you ever find a replacement for that drive chain? I'm looking for the same thing so I can quit welding mine together.
