1755 Foamy Oil

I just replaced the clutch in my 1755, and had a couple hours on it, when it started running rough, and seemed to be low on power.
I pulled the dipstick and the oil was grey and foamy (I changed it when I did the clutch). I was thinking head gasket, but the coolant level seems good - Any ideas?
Thanks
Pete

The grey could indicate metal in oil. sorry to say that. have oil sample sent off for lab analysis,,,napa might be able to do that.
