OC-46 price range

Wondering about a reasonable price range for an OC-46 loader with the reverser. This one has the 3 cylinder gas. Starts up and runs fine but needs a tune up. No smoke. All gears work. Reverser works but has a noisy bearing in reverse. UC has about 80% remaining. Sprockets look good. Light wear on bushings. No breaks or welds that I could find. No major leaks. Hydraulics seem strong. Oil pressure seems a little low but could be a gauge issue. Steering a bit weak on one side but may be an adjustment issue. Hasn't been used much for last several years but has been stored under cover. Bucket in good shape and has teeth. Overall it's does not appear beat up or abused.

Hard to find any for sale in my area for comparison. Any thing in particular to look for? Weak spots?

I use a country wide Craigslist Tempest search when I'm trying to price an item for sale. The Cletrac.org site will have discussions regarding problems/pitfalls of the OC4.

Thanks.
I had actually tried that, in fact with two "search all" engines and came up with one or two ads. One returned a number of ads but when you go to them they have been deleted or go to an unsecure connection.

Well first of all you need to check several items. Early crawlers (OC-46) were built in Cleveland. Later models were built in Charles City. There are improvements on those. You can have 2 different types of steering, you can have the planetary steer model and the optional " spot turn" or clutch type steering as well. Look for a serial number> Also there are differences in the engines as well.

There are no external differences between the types of steering. But the serial number tag usually show the type of steering. There will be a PL or ST after the model on the tag.
Pl is for the diff steer and ST for the clutch steering. The diff steering is the more reliable unit. That sounds like a nice tractor!
