bought a used and abused tractor. put never seize on right rock arm shaft. left side is stuck. took out grease fitting and soaked with wd45 from top, below and thru
grease fitting hole. let soak. then put back grease fitting and used air grease gun. did not free or allow any grease in. i can see threaded rod after cleaning hole. applied map torch in side hole after grease fitting removed. tried turning with big 6 ft crow bar. did not move. am afraid if i turn with max force it will break rock arm shaft. last option is to heat rock arm shaft where upper threaded link runs thru. if i get shaft red hot am i risking cracking cast iron ? anyone is have ideas. is an expensive part and i dont want to break.
