Co op e5 diesel popping.

I just got the old E5 running this morning. It ran great once it got fuel. My hose was leaking from my secondary filter to the injector pump so I went to town to get a new hose . Now when I start it up it starts popping and it will run but it also pops intermittently, Then dies . Do I have air trapped in the system or what do you think I have going on? I have no idea where to start seeing as it ran so nicely this morning . Just a background on the tractor, I just freshly rebuilt the motor and had the injection pump rebuilt front to back so this was the first time starting it after putting it all together. It might be a sticking valve

An E5 doesn't have sleeves. does it, so did u rering it?

None of the valves are stuck, it has brand-new rings in it yes . I let it sit for a while and fired it up again last night and it runs fine so it must've been some air in one of the injectors or something. Thanks for the replies anyway though .

Did you solve your 453 fuel pump problem?

I did get it running , But the fuel is leaking back . It does have the R 70 restrictor fitting on the return line , but I still lose prime when I go to start it
