770 power steering

I need to replace the seal on my 1968 770 oliver gas. It is my understanding that there are no other parts available to rebuild these power
steering pumps? What do you do if the pump fails? It is the factory power steering up front with the filler reservoir that goes through the
hood.
Thanks a bunch in advance.

Which leaks the pump or the steering unit? I got a guy some parts last fall. Refresh my memory, you have the Cessna pump and not a Saginaw. You have e-mail?

It is the seal on the pump that is behind the radiator. The pump doesn't say at all what it is. It is a square blocky type pump. I want to say a Cessna.

By seal kit what do you mean? I was able to order the seal near the pulley. I was told on the phone that was about it. Where do people go to have these rebuilt if they quit working? Or do they not break? Is the seal kit that you mention, the only thing it takes to rebuild them. Thanks in advance for your advice

Ask yourself these 3 questions Does the seal leak because the seal is worn out, Does the seal leak because the pump is worn internally and there is more internal leakage than what the drilled passage can return, does the seal leak because there is excessive wear in front bushing of the pump because the belt has been run on the tight side.
