Installing Tire Chains

I'd like to put tire chains on a 1650. Are the rim/hub bolts shown on these rims for that purpose (they have 'eyelets')? If so where can you get these special bolts?

Just put them around the tire and get them as tight as you can. You might want to try and tighten them after you have driven it a
little. They can fall off if they are not tight enough.

Put rubber straps across the tires that
helps them stay on .I have heard of guys
letting air out before putting chains on
then refilling the tires that way they
stay tight. Just remember if you have
fluid in keep the valve stem up

Thanks, I wondered what those those things were for! As far chains go -- wow, I'm seeing over $500 a pair for 16.9x34s. May get some cheap chain and make my own.
