does anyone have good information on the 70 industrials. I bought one that was yard art in Washington state that has a rather interesting hitch set up on it. you can tell it isn't a cobble up job. I know it was used on the Washington highway commission for a few years.

The hitch has a single two way hydraulic cylinder on it that runs on the transmission top underneath the seat. The left and right drawbar pieces that run from the drawbar to the transmission housing have been replaced with hinged parts, allowing hydraulic raising and lowering of the drawbar.[/img]

That sounds like a interesting hitch. I am sure it's after market, as there isn't anything in the parts book like that.

What is the tractor serial number and what color was the tractor originally painted? Where is the hydraulic pump mounted/driven?

I've got one , it just has the std. hitch. Mine
was an orange similar to Case's Flambeau .

Can you send me pictures of yours would like to see if it's the same. I didn't see the parts in my parts book of the upper pieces.

Driven off a hydraulic pump on the left side of engine...valve and operator are mounted on left of dash

I have one as well, and
like Dalex's, mine has
the standard hitch. Mine
is more of a JD
industrial yellow
though.
