What engine would the 1800lp have been, tried to look It up o tractor data with nothing, said the gas model was a 265, that would be same as an 880!? Any info out there?

The 265 in an 1800 would have been the A series. 1800. B & C series used the 283 engine gas and L P. The 265 in an 880 is different than the 265 in an A series as well.

Energy density of lp is less than that of gasoline, so I would not expect more hp. Likely balanced out by increase in compression ratio to develop approx the same hp in both versions. Oliver did this on several models earlier, by increasing the swept volumes, per eg, on the less volatile fuelled and lower octane rated (so lower compression) engines.
