Oliver 1800 Standard Question

Just wondering what the value of an Oliver 1800 Standard would be? The tractor is nice looking (good sheetmetal), fair to good tires, complete bareback (no PTO or 3 Point) and the engine runs fine. Something wrong with the tranny that it won't move. Guy thought something with some valves or something but wasn't sure.

Does the old Oliver Standards have any value? I can buy it for about $1750.00, but I would guess that was pretty high. What are your thoughts? Thanks - Bob

How about more details? A B or C Series 1800? Also what about power steering, Power steering was standard on the rowcrop models optional on the standards, Does it have a Hydra-power? what about the serial number, all 8 or 9 digits and spec number while you are looking. Does it have a 3 point, gas, propane or diesel?

Were the 1800A Gas and propane a 265",283",or 310? Was researching this and I'm confused tractordata.com has them listed as a 265" which was the same as 880,1600+1650 gas, why would they use that if the technology was there for the seven main engines?

1800 A tractors were 265 cubic inch with spark ignition and 283 with the diesel engine. B & C series engines were 283 in the gas & L p and 310 in diesel.
