I was wondering if anybody had the serial number breakdowns for the 7300's. Mine is an Oliver SN: 0512659 and I was just wondering what year that would make it.

That's too many numbers for my book. I'm showing beginning numbers:

12101......1972

22101......1973

33001......1974

43001......1975

53001......1976

The first 0 designates it is an Oliver model. Double check that 5, it could be a letter an example would be an Oliver 525 would have been OZ. I remember that. By the time the 4 digit series came out I had gone to 3 X 5 cards instead of my blue notebooks and those cards I did not keep any of those. Only the first year 7300 models were green.

The first two characters in the serial number of a White 7300 combine are "OS", thus the 5 you listed is really an "S".   Your serial number is 12659.   The last machine assembled that year was 12675, thus your machine was assembled in December.

Starting serial numbers in addition to those listed by rrlund are:
1977 63101
1978 71101
1979 85301
1980 96201

As you can see the first digit indicates the year of production, of course the trick is to know what the first year of production was.   Other manufactures used the same method in their combine serial numbers also.
