Super 88 Diesel - Front/Rear Crank seals

Looking to install new front and rear crankshaft seals on the Super 88 Diesel this winter. Had to replace the water pump for a bad bearing so figured I better go ahead and do the front seal also while I have it off. I got the front cover off and appears as expected the oil seal(cork) is hard and likely wasn't doing much sealing. I looked up the parts for these, front is 1K126 and rear is 1KS129. Are these still the same design as the originals using a cork seal or is there something newer that can replace it? It would seem that along the line sometime they would have come up with something better than the old cork seals. Thanks, Nate.

I don't know about the front seal. I am in the process of putting a clutch in a super 88 gas, and bought the seal retainer from a newer tractor (1650?) and the seal and gasket for that retainer. Changes it over to a normal lip type seal. I've done this before on another tractor and it worked well.

Thanks Josh, do you have the part numbers for these? Were you able to get them all from AGCO?

I buy most of my parts from Maibach tractor. I just told them what I was doing, and they sent me the parts. That's why I assume it was a 1650, but don't really know.
