hydrallic oil in 1370 getting very hot after short run time has a remote pump for loader so independent of tractor system does selector valve on top of transmission but my select three point hitch lift or hydrallic remotes this is a neighbours tractor has asked for some help sounds like the oil may be dead ending somewhere creating more resistance or pump bypass maybe not opening enough any thoughts

Any chance he's put a new spool valve on it and used a closed center instead of an open center? Could there have been water in the filter that has frozen so the ice is stopping the flow?

Thanks for the suggestions frozen filter not the issue as was doing in summer but will check to see if he has changed anything in spooling really appreciate suggestions
