I just installed a brand new loader on my 1650. all the steel lines on the loader are 1/2". the lines are then reduced to 3/8 hoses going to the loader control valve. the fittings coming out of the valve going to all the functions are a 1/2" thread I believe, may be a little bigger, and are then reduced to 3/8" to connect to the other end of the hoses. so basically what I have is 1/2" going to 3/8" then back to 1/2". so my question is, what is the point of the 3/8" hoses? why aren't they 1/2" hoses? can I change the 3/8" hoses to 1/2" and possibly get better flow? that question leads me into my next question. the bucket works good all functions are good. but, for example, when going into the manure pile to get a full bucket, if I get a full bucket I cant roll the bucket back or pick it up until I back out of the pile just a little bit. it just seems to me I should be able to do either of those functions. you can hear the pump when youre trying to do it to. I can do it with our other tractor of the same size. so why is this doing this? any thoughts on what may be causing it? or is it just nature of the beast? and yes I do have the hydraulics plumbed into the ports under the seat, not into the remotes. thanks.
