Well I got the trees and brush cleared away and the two trees fell just to either side of the manure spreader. The biggest one is touching the spreader, but not putting much weight on it. That was a close call.

You were lucky ! I am still dealing with the effects of a wind/ice storm we had in February. It was bad enough FEMA was called into our area.USDA came to my place and estimated it would cost $40,000 to just clean up the mess. Guess what I have been doing in my alleged spare time?

Trying to remember where we were. It was on 52,but I don't remember if it was east or west of Livingston, east I think, there was a definite path of a tornado that crossed the road on a curve. You could see along the side of the road where it had been, then straight ahead off the curve you could see where it had come through.

It was slated for a restore anyhow, but it did get an extra small dent on the fender that I can easily dolly out. Whew... that was close. It was really lucky the trunk didn't snap, and that the root ball held up a lot of the weight.
