Swapping utility for row crop or narrow front end. Possible?

Is it possible to swap a utility (set back) front end for a row crop front end on a 1755? What all is involved? Pretty easy or not for the faint of hart? Maibach tractor the best source of parts? Found a decent 1755 that has a utility front end and I prefer the row crop or even a narrow front.

Piece of cake, BUT it works better with 2 people. You will need to reverse the hoses at the steering motor too. You need to remove the grills on both tractors. FYI for you the later wide front ends turn shorter than the older ones. Also later wide fronts have heavier tie rod assemblies. Questions/

Thanks for the quick get back. I have a few questions.

- From what series can I get a front end from? (ie 1550-1950T, or only another 1755 front will work, etc)
- How do I tell the difference between a later and older front end? I will probably have to hit a salvage yard or swap with someone looking for a utility front end. If I get the tractor.
-How long of a job am I looking at? Any special tools I should look at getting? Any tips or issues to avoid.

Going to look at the tractor Tuesday night after work.

I had a set back front axle on a 1969 1650 Diesel, and thought it was great, sure worked better cultivating 30 inch rows on the contour than the
LWB adjustable axle. Might ride a little rougher because because of short wheel base.
