I took my filter housing off , & there was no filter, retainer or spring under there. So I ordered a new filter, retainer & spring.
Normally the open end of the filter would go facing down. is the retainer The picture in the manual is not very clear, & vaguely looks like the open end of the filter is facing up. Also the retainer which way does it go, the raised portion facing up or towards the filter?
I just put the filter with spring on top temporarily, but if I try to put the housing on the spring falls off. Not much room between the spring & the seat to put the housing straight down..
