What are the differences between the Oliver 565 and 575 plows? Are their parts (like points, shins, mouldboards etc) interchangeable? Was the tail wheel a 14 or 15 inch rim?
Thanks

We had a 575 that had the hydraulic reset and it was terrible. Either the bottoms tripped too frequently or the standards that the cylinder mounted to broke. If you have rocks to any degree then get the spring reset plus the manual to properly set tension

Never sold one, but if I remember right the 575 was hydraulic reset, the 565 was the cushion trip plow. Bottoms and all the wear parts would be the same if you had the same series of bottoms.

The 575 was the hydraulic auto reset. I still have mine. If the nitrogen pressure in the accumulator is correct and you have the oil pressure correct for your soil type, they worked very well. Having said that, I will say the spring operated reset design is a better design and simpler. And yes, a large share of the parts would be interchangeable.

Just checked in tonight. I'll go look up my operators manual and check. Mine is 16 inch, but not sure about being adjustable from 14-16.
