1600 3 point

Was going to put my 1600 on the 3 bottom today to go some plowing along with the 1855 and 4 bottom plow, but the 16 didn't want to lift the plow. Dad moved the plow this summer film one shot to another and it worked fine then, but now it won't lift just the arms unless you bring the engine up around 1500 rpms. I did have to mess with the restrictor valves a little while doing loader work this weekend, but with them adjusted back to where they were before hand I still got nothing.

Bad cylinder seals? Or should I look somewhere else first... might be a while until I can take a look at it.

We ended up putting the Massey 285 on the small plow and we still had 7 bottoms in the ground today so we weren't at a stand still, but the 285 just doesn't do it as good as the 16. I plowed until I had to go to work, and then dad took over for me and we had a family friend on the 18 until it broke a tie rod.

Power steering works fine, and so do the remotes on the back. Dad uses it every day to feed the animals. When I get a chance I'll get a gauge and check it.

There is a slight leak between the priority valve and the hydraulic housing, but it's been leaking for quite a while. Been meaning to get after it when time is available.

On my 1650, if I hook up to a hose or cylinder that has a lot of air in it, it sometimes acts the same way. Seems like it's bypassing the pressure relief. If I run the lever back and forth lots of times eventually it comes out of it and works fine. It's even worse when it's on a single-acting cylinder.

So, I guess maybe try moving the lever back and forth a lot of times and see if anything changes?

This is the 3 point, not the remotes. The remotes work fine. Had this tractor fur years but this is the first time the 3 point won't work.

No problem. I probably won't have a chance to look at it for a little while. The 1855 needs to have the toe-in checked after busting a tie rod, our Massey 285 has some steering issues that take priority, and I've got a few other projects I've gotta work on. Other than wanting to put the plow on, the 16 doesn't get much 3 point use so not much inconvenience.
