I went to a auction sale yesterday, October 24, kinda interesting he had the 1950, Cockshutt 50 Diesel, that he bought new, sold for $1600 and the rear tires were nice, and tin work was perfect. And it didnt go for scrap. The Bad thing was it had that worthless 6 cy linder Buda Diesel engine that didnt run. There was not a dent in anything he had, even the aluminum reel boards on a old IHC swather, they were as straight as a string.

So was that a 230 or a 262 diesel engine ? Sorry i said that about that engine but i had a neighbor who had 2 D-17 diesels and i worked for a Allis _Chalmers dealer for a while1 !

Ok ,it had the tag on the left side of the engine, but i couldn't read it, it even had dual rear tires, apparently it was his seeding tractor. 18.4 x34 with 14.9 x38 duals
