Just picked up this big iron the other day. It is in great shape. Stored inside it'd whole life and is all original. My first big oliver and my 5th overall. Just wanted to share and see how many other people out there have one.

Very nice tractor. Thanks for posting the pix. I have a 2255 which is a distant cousin, it's not as nice as your rig.
 
Well, we have it's silver brother, a 2-150, 2155 (G-1350) also, and two 2255's. looks like you got a nice unit!
 
Congratulations on your find. I happen to have one along with a yellow MM G1355 and two White 2270s and a 2-150. There should be some pictures on here if you search for them. If the engine is in good shape you'll be happy with it. A good looking tractor and a good workhorse.
 
This is probably the only tractor that I can get away with saying.... Your jugs are the wrong color! I have yellow one and the white 2270 red colored one in my herd. A couple of the 2255's also.
 
Seems to have a oil leak. Haven't got to Really investigate it yet. Seem like oil coming from gasket between exhaust and block or possibly the exhaust. Not sure. Tractor smokes white one Starr up and reduces some when warm. Might have a slight miss. Was told it the "oil" was unburnt fuel being gurgled out of cylinder. Anyone have input or advice?
