Pipe plow part

I have a 5 bottom pipe plow, 5540 I think. I dropped the rear bottom on concrete today, only about two inches, but broke the cast iron "shoe" that bolts to the rear landside. Hardly any wear on it, but not usable now. Anyone have an extra for sale?

Heat it up on the Bar BQ grill and weld it, put it back on the grill and let it burn out slowly. Chris

Last I knew you could buy new ones both O E and aftermarket. Without looking I think Oliver part number used to be EP 1300

I'd do as super99 said. Nothing to loose, and I think will work. I would weld it with Ni rod, or try that new rod that's advertised now.

It has a part number on it- I'll check. I did look at Shoup's catalog, and they didn't list anything. Tried to find the plow model in the Agco site- they list the square beam plows, but not the pipe plows. I'll do some more digging. Thanks
