I have almost finished painting my Super 55. I used epoxy primer under the AGCO Meadow green. Looks good and holding up well. Parts of this tractor have been painted for years. I need to paint the grill parts yellow with the red lettering. I see that a place in Portland sells Tallman's in Oliver colours. Has anyone used these before? I may even just buy the aerosol. For the small amount I need. Looks like the red only comes in aerosol from them.

You brought up a great point. If I google Oliver Super 55 there are some center strips that are done in red with yellow lettering. On others it's green with yellow letters. I know my 1955 wheels were green from the factory. Did some guys just like painting the center strip red? I looked at Super 99s on the internet and it's the same thing. I never noticed that before. So were all Super center grill strips green with yellow letters and some restorers painted what they liked?

I know they're all supposed to be green, but mine is a red wheeled "Improved" Super and with the red wheels,I just like the look of a red strip with yellow lettering better. So ya,mine is one of those with a red strip.
