Super 88 Oil Specs

Hi guys , I have an Super 88 deisel and need to know if the trans. oil , diff oil , and hyd. oil are all the same oil . I haven't used this tractor but only to pull once and not to familiar with it. Don't even know where to check the running gear levels

Anyone have a link or diagram for these fluids .My chum wants to borrow it and rake hay , so a days work will be good for it .

Well reading your other post, the hydraulic unit has a dipstick on top. Check that one first. You MUST have oil in there if you are using it or not. A good tractor hydraulic oil is what you need. The gear train has one check plug on the right side by the rear axle. Check plug is a 3/8 inch pipe plug. Fill plug is by the gear shift lever. 80-90 gear oil is the recommended fluid.
