1550 transmission question

Got the hydraulics pulled off the 1550 yesterday and found a couple of things that I didn't understand. First, did some of the 1550's come without a neutral safety switch? This one doesn't have one, and doesn't look to me like it ever had one. Second question, you can see in the attached pics that there was some kind of bracket bolted onto one of the shift rails on the rear end side of the housing. It's broken off, and I'm not sure what it was for so I don't know what to look for. Can anyone tell me what is missing there?

AGCO parts book shows a support for the neutral safety switch bolted to one of the shift rods. Is this the remains of the support?

Tim is correct, part number is 160382A. The blue gasket tells me the top has been off before and the
switch with wire was removed then. Much as I hate safety switches, If I was at the point you are I
would put in a new bracket and switch. My 2 cents
