1850 pto drive hub

I'm about to install a new pto drive hub and long shaft in my 1850 and was wondering if I should lube the splines with anti-seize or just keep them dry. These are replacement parts from A&I so I'm hoping they hold up simular to an OEM part. This is a low use tractor maybe 15 to 20 hours a year on the disc mower and square baler. Thanks.

Use spline lubricant. Not sure where to buy it though. I save the little packets from the Chelsea PTO's I put on trucks. Looks kind of like graphite.

good luck with the a&i parts ,I did a trans input shaft on a 1850 diesel 3 yrs ago it lasted 327 hrs before it stripped the splines off , we then got a used one out of a tractor yard , 800 hrs later and still going strong , A&I must be making them in china ,there radiators are not as good as originals , they are !row of tubes smaller ,don't cool as good

Check for wear in the front engine mount. I tore one up in less than two years. The front mount was in bad shape and let the angle of the engine change so it was wearing on an angle.
