I have an Oliver 1750 Diesel and I was replacing a leaky fuel return line boot and after i got the boot replaced i started the tractor and where the fuel had run down the side engine it was making air bubbles from between the head and block. So I shut it off the engine cleanes all the fuel off the engine restarted it let it warm up good the took some soapy water in a spray bottle and squirted a little on the seem between the block and head and sure enough i got bubbles between 5 and 6 cylinder on the exhaust side. It doesn't get coolant in the oil and tried pressure testing the radiator and it holds 7lbs for 30 minutes... Could it be just a bad spot in the gasket? I have an IT mannual are the torque specs for the 9/16 head bolts 1-6 at 150 ft lbs and7-14 at 133 ft lbs. Are these correct?

Did you re-torque?

How many bubbles? A lot or just a very small amount? Does the number increase or decrease as the engine warms up?

Head gasket fire ring is blown between the coolant ports.
It results in compression leaking out without causing coolant loss.
It will get worse,..replacing the head gasket is your only option.
re torquing won't help any.
