880 OLIVER RPM'S PULLING

Hi, I have question regarding my RPMs and how to adjust. The motor has been worked over and pulls really strong. It was only ever on the dyno once when it was first born 5 years ago and ran about 110hp at 2300ISH RPMs. My question is we are going to redyno it and can I twist some more RPMs to see if we get more peak HP. If so is the linkage spring giving me my RPMs or is it in the governor. How can I adjust. thanks !

What brand of dyno are you using? If an A & W where do you have the torque arm set and what RPM do you pull it down to for the 110 horse power rating? I also dynode a 1750 one time with a 540 shaft and the guy wanted to see how the torque rise was and the PTO shaft broke and went flying through the door. Good thing no one was on the other side of the door!

Good questions that I'll have to ask. Last time I just sat on it while he lugged it a few times and he said about 110.

My built sheet got lost in a move. Still looking for it. Its been about 5-6 years and I forgot. Are you asking for get a idea of what RPMs it should run?

A friend of mine Leo, was shop foreman, testing a 560 diesel way back in the 60'S, that pto on the dyno broke too, came around and hit the tractor tire, and broke the other knuckle.
