770 standard

can someone tell me the different wheel and tire sizes you could order on a 770 standard . Nebraska tests don't list the standard that I could find .

Oliver did not build any 770 standard tractors. They built the Row crops, Wheatland, High Crop, Industrial and Power-Pak models..

The Wheatland models replaced the standard models, starting in about 1958.

The information Gordey gave you is correct for the Wheatland models.

A lot of guys in Ohio talk about the Wheatlamd standards and the Row Crop standards. Are they what you are talking about?

The standards before 1958 had 26" rear tires and different transmission gearing.

This is a 770 standard of mine

I understand what your saying. Oliver printed a brochure on the 779 and 880 Wheatland tractors, and that is what they called your tractor. The Row Crop brochure(s) all show the Row Crop Standard front end as an option. Neither brochure says anything about a straight "Standard" tractor.

Most people use the above terminology to tell he difference between the two.
