mounting a corn picker

Will a #4 Oliver corn picker mount on an 88 with the mounting brackets from a 77. The franken tractor I bought looks like it has a 88 frame and I was wondering if it will mount on it

Ya,those brackets are universal. The rear mounts bolt to the axles where the fenders mount and the front mount just goes through the front pipe hole in the frame. Just don't ask me if the axle mounts go toward the front or rear of the axles. Even when I was doing it every year I couldn't remember from one year to the next. It doesn't matter until you go to put the rear part of it on and by then,if you do it wrong,you'll wish you hadn't.
