White 6085-6105

What's the verdict on these tractors? Built by SAME aren't they? I saw a few 6085s on TractorHouse and about half were "Mechanics Specials".
Eventually I'd like to have a White to do the same jobs that I use the 1850 for now but I want an air conditioned cab. 2-85s and 2-105s with working air are getting hard to find, and 2-88s and 2-110s even harder and more expensive when you find a good one.
Weren't there some models about that size that were built by Lamborghini,or is SAME what the company morphed in to?

I've owned this one for seven years now. Mixed feelings about it. Rear end went out two years ago and luckily the dealer had a salvage tractor to grab gears from. Also had the radiator fixed and new tires put on a few years ago. Those are the big issues I've had. AC works well, but the condenser needs to be absolutely clean to say that. The heater will keep you from freezing. Changing from 1000 to 540 takes about 5 mins. with the tools handy. Overall I'd say my 1850 is stronger on the pto and I like the 6105 better for tillage. Mine starts well in cold temps. I believe they were made by SAME although the 6105 is a liquid cooled na six cylinder. The front weights say deuzt allis on them???

She sure was. Hope this fall is different, had way
too much rain last year. I seeded alfalfa in that
field this year and looks surprisingly well.

I would look for an 88 or 110, but that is just me. My 2-88 has 9000 hrs and runs like new. Much nicer cab then my 85, about the same as my 135 series 3, which you know about. For alot of jobs, I like it better then either of my 100s. Takes much fuel then the cummins do. If you see a nice 88 or 110, I would buy it! Unless you are bidding against me!
