I just bought an original 1755 1855 1955 2255 Shop Manual. It seems like it is missing some sections. It has Sections:
A: Style and General Information (9 sheets of paper or 18 pages)
B: Engine (43 sheets)
C: Transmission (36 sheets)
E: Power Take-Off (5 sheets)
F: Power Lift (34 sheets)
O: Electrical (13 sheets)
P: Three-Point Hitch (4 sheets)
Q: Engine Clutch (6 sheets)
U: Steering Gears (27 sheets)
Total sheets of paper is 168.
Last page is U30-16-6

Can someone compare this to their service manual? Thanks.

The letter system was used by the company beginning with the ordering process, to assembly, to parts information and layout and lastly shop manuals. You have all the sections that was printed and appear to have all the sheets without going through and counting page by page.   some sections were not used, for example letter section "D" is belt pulley, not on a 55 series.   Other letter sections that were not in the manual because they are not technically needed, they are: "G" Rear tires, "H" Rear wheels, "I" Rear rims, "J" Rear wheel weights, "K" Front tires, "L" front wheels, "M" Front rims, "N" Front weights.   You can see that there isn't any need for technical information on those items.

There are two editions or printings of the shop manual, form 432 544 & 432 675.   The later printing has additional information as some systems were added or updated.   You can identify the later print easily in a couple of sections.   "P" Late has information on the Category III hitch.   "U" has information on the early Saganaw steering control and the later production Char Lynn control.
