My neighbor wants to sell it but not sure if its a HG or OC3. Thanks for any help! It runs just needs the radiator repaired. Its hiding in the back of the shed so hard to get good pictures.

Greg: Look on the oil filter side of the block. At the top of the block there is a flat spot milled in the block. The model of the engine and the serial number is stamped there. Tell us what it is. On the other side on the block by the mag there is a date cast in the block when the block was poured. Look on the right side of the bell housing for an Oliver serial number tag. If there is none look on the right frame rail for a serial number tag.

Thanks J., I will check on it tonight. He just has to many projects including his MM G-900, White 2-105, and a Case 1070. I told him about the Yesterday's Tractor ads and may post the Oliver crawler and the White 2-105 for him.

I think those front wheels are HG aren't they? I thought the OC's had a pressed steel front wheel.

I found it on the right side behind the mag. I couldn't see it I just stuck the camera in there and took a pic. I tried taking pics under the hood to see any numbers with no luck.

I'd bet on the HG 68 model - with very little use. The steering levers get quite floppy with use, even when kept well greased! - and splay outward at the top when sitting. The levers on this one are still nearly parallel.

The engine with no water pump could be the IXK-3. Have a look at the oil dipstick - the model may be stamped on that.

And try posting this info on the Cletrac site.

You may have to cut and paste the link, and if that doesn't work, google "Cletrac.org" and wade your way into the "HG OC3 General" forum.

There are a number of very knowledgeable cats there - including John, who posted above!
