Oliver 70 paint to light?

I recently purchased my paint for my 1946 Oliver 70 RC from Napa with Martin senour #99L-8748. Painted inside of frame and it's looking alittle light to me. Not very happy at the moment to say the least. What you think? Does it look like meadow green?

A 70 would not have been the meadow green. Meadow green was for the 3 digit tractors in 1958 and later. Yes the 70 should be darker.

I think the 46 70 would have been about the same as a 47-51 Fleetline. Real early 70s were even darker.

rrlund, yeah that's all I've found too. Napa fixed the problem today and covered the mess up. They somehow put in wrong code. Yeah the 46 green was super dark. The correct color is on the right in picture. Almost like a blackish green. Thanks for all the input guys. I'll be sure to start a progress thread soon.

A friend of mine painted his Oliver with two coats of John Deere Green and then put the Oliver green over. He said he saved quite a bit of money because the Deere paint was less money.
