oliver 1850 gas

Just for comparison a few years ago a decent looking 1750 gas-with the carb missing-good tires- bought less that $1000.00 in north Missouri.

What kind of options does this tractor have? Spin out wheels, Wide front, Hydra Power, Over under, Dual speed PTO, 3-point Fuel tank fenders, etc? That all helps determine the value as does where the tractor is located. If you buy it is it for farming or is it going to have a loader put on it for a winter snow shovel? Just asking. J.

it is wide front , 2hyds, 2spd pto in Indiana. I want something cheap to run a feed grinder and maybe rake a little. It also has a canopy.

Make sure the 2 speeds are in the PTO! We probably only sold 10% of our tractors with the full dual speed unit. How many hours are you going to use it in a year? If you tune then down a little to say a little less than 90 horse they take less gas too. I think the 283 engine like in a 1750 is one of the best gas engines anybody had on the market at that time.

Less than a 100 hrs a year . He says it ran but took carb off to get rebuilt and the guy cracked it and won't fix it . Is it worth buying a carb and putting on it to see if it runs for or just offer something less as is ?

we run 5 of them and love them here they will bring 3000-3500-in good cond but the carb could cost you 200-400 they are
good hp for the money any day

(quoted from post at 16:50:00 07/15/15) Which carburetor, the aluminum or the cast iron one?
it doesn't have a carb on it . Said he had a guy try and fix it broke it and won't return his calls .
