I have an Oliver 880. I don't know the serial number, because the tag was missing when I bought it. The serial number of the hydraulic pump is 61811.
I have changed out the hydraulic filter and oil. The tractor has a loader and I was able to lift the offset disk I own without issues once hoses and one cylinder was replaced on the loader.
I own a 5500 rebel vermeer round baler and I am not able to completely lift the tailgate. It does require about 1600 psi minimum. I did some reading in my oliver books. Is the pump really limited to about 1000-1100 psi? Are there newer pumps and relief valves that a person can get with a higher psi for the hydraulic system?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
